The studio previously hinted at a port for the Nintendo Switch successor – though they were initially unsure if technical constraints would make such a project possible.

Executive Producer Danny Koo told IGN that the team is now actively working on the Nintendo Switch 2 version. He stated there are no major obstacles standing in the way of development – though a release window is not yet ready for announcement.

Smartphones will not receive the hero shooter

When asked about the possibility of iOS or Android versions, Koo gave a firm negative. The hero shooter will not be coming to mobile devices in the immediate future.

No, Marvel Rivals will not be released on mobile devices, at least in the near future.

The main barrier is the control scheme, which is not designed for touchscreens. While a mobile – specific title is theoretically possible, the current game is not being adapted for handheld phones.

At present, Marvel Rivals is available for players on PC, PS5, PS4, and Xbox Series.
