Metroid Fusion Gravity Boss Walkthrough

Get ready to encounter the powerful boss of gravity, Nightmare in Metroid Fusion.

Make sure to gather sufficient Energy Tanks and Missiles before facing Nightmare. Also, equip yourself with Charge Beam along with Ice Missiles for better combat strength.

Aim for the vulnerable spot. Nightmare will shoot at you energetically while it floats. The area that can be harmed is the big round thing between its arms; this is where it controls the gravity field. Fire all your missiles on this device even if Nightmare tries to make your movements slower and change the missile paths. Persist in targeting the device until it succumbs to your assault.

After you destroy the device, the Nightmare will get rid of its outer covering. You must dodge the falling pieces of it while continuing your attack. Aim your Ice Missiles or regular missiles at Nightmare’s face that is now visible. Make sure you hit accurately so that it cannot deflect any of them back at you.

Confront the Core-X. The Nightmare, weakened by your attack, undergoes a transformative change into a Core-X. Use your beam weapon to fight it and free the X entities that are floating around. After this step, you can then destroy them using a volley of missiles. Beat the Core-X to get your reward called Gravity Suit. This suit will make Samus more agile in water areas, helping her move better through the locations filled with water.

Hold the Gravity Suit and prepare to explore Sector 5 further. Let the SC guide you in this cold and dangerous place. Keep moving forward with strength and staying alert.

Stay alert, avoid the enemies skillfully, and use your weapons to the limit. If you are determined and have a good strategy, then you will defeat Nightmare and get the important Gravity Suit.
