Following their established tradition, the developers at Supermassive Games included a hidden teaser after the credits. This eerie video sequence offers the first glimpse into what will become the sixth entry in the series.
While the project currently lacks an official title, the visual clues suggest a narrative centered around grim rituals and mysterious cults.
Keen – eyed players have already identified several cryptic details within the brief footage:
- Warning phrases such as YOUARENOTSAFE, YOUCANTESCAPE, ITKNOWSYOU, and ITHASSEENYOU.
- A series of specific dates including 1988, 2019, 2028, and 2029.
- Various unidentified symbols appearing throughout the teaser.
Previous reports concerning the second season of The Dark Pictures mentioned titles like The Craven Man, Intercession, Winterfold, and O Death. Many fans currently speculate that this new teaser belongs to The Craven Man, although official confirmation has not been provided.
The franchise faces a challenging period ahead, as Directive 8020 debuted to low critical scores and mixed reviews from the gaming community.
