Microsoft has officially announced the date for its premier annual event – the Xbox Games Showcase 2026 will take place on June 7, followed immediately by a dedicated Gears of War: E – Day Direct.

The broadcast begins at 10:00 AM PT – which is 20:00 in Kyiv – making it a prime – time event for the international audience. The stream will be available in over 40 languages and feature sign language support alongside audio descriptions. The program opens with gameplay reveals from internal studios and partners, covering both massive franchises and indie projects. Once the main show concludes, The Coalition will take the stage for a specialized look at the next chapter of Gears.

Hosting a dedicated Direct is a significant move. E – Day will dive into the beginning of the Emergence Day, offering new gameplay and insights into the prequel story set before the 2006 original. This suggests a deep exploration of the origins of the entire saga.
