Before the game testing began, the developers from FromSoftware published a new trailer on YouTube, in which they announced the exact release date – May 30. Pre-orders are already open!
The game currently costs $39.99. There is also a digital Deluxe version, the price of which is already higher – $54.99, but it has more goodies: additional DLC with new game characters and bosses, a digital art book and a mini-soundtrack. If you are from a wealthy family, you can fork out for a collector’s edition for $200, which includes an art book, a steel book, a 25-centimeter statuette and a set of character cards.
In terms of gameplay, Elden Ring: Nightreign will be a mix of Roguelike mechanics with Battle Royale elements: we will have to survive three in-game days and move towards the center of a shrinking circle right to the final boss.
On February 14, FromSoftware conducted the first testing of the new product, which was a failure: The Nightreign servers could not withstand the load – many players could not get past the main menu. The company has already apologized. Testing will last until February 17 inclusive.
