Yesterday, employees of the Microsoft gaming division held a traditional Developer Direct demonstration, where they presented one of the long-awaited and difficult games – Ninja Gaiden 4.
The fourth part will be a continuation of the story of the third. The center of events is a dull and gloomy Tokyo. We are waiting for a new hero named Yakumo, who is a ninja. They did not forget about the famous Ryu Hayabusa: they will also let you play as him.
Yuji Nakao (the director of the action movie) claims that Ninja Gaiden 4 will be fair to players: the enemies will not be too imbalanced, so there will be no feeling that you lost in an unfair fight. In the game, we are waiting for a quick switch between attack and defense, as well as one-on-one fights, almost like in fighting games. Among the new features of Ninja Gaiden 4, a good “Bloodbath” technique is expected, the essence of which is to cut down several enemies with one blow.
The release is scheduled for autumn 2025. We will be able to play on PS5, PC (Steam), and Xbox Series (including Game Pass).
