Ukrainian game studio VG Entertainment has announced a story-oriented single-player shooter called Forest Reigns, in which we will go to Paris after the apocalypse with a mutated forest (flashbacks from Metro 2033 and Stalker have flown).
As for the gameplay, we will not only be able to arrange first-person shootouts, but also try out RPG and survival. We will have changing locations that we will happily explore, mutants that we will shoot back at, and resources that we will collect to improve weapons.
But don’t expect Forest Reigns to be a regular and boring survival: the developers have already prepared a non-linear plot with dozens of missions for us. Interestingly, the key role in the game will be played by the forest itself, which has acquired its own mind and goals.
It is stated that the outcome of the confrontation with the forest will directly depend on the decisions made by gamers.
So far, it is known that Forest Reigns is planned to be released on PC (Steam), but when it will be released is known only to the developers.
