ToggleDivinity Original Sin 2 mods: something that will brighten up your evening
Hello, my dear friend. Happy New Year to you! You are probably already taking a break from work and worries. Here is a suggestion: make some cinnamon tea, bake some buns, and start up your powerful PC. Today will be interesting because we will look at Divinity’s Original Sin 2 mods. You know about this game, right? It is an exciting role-playing game with well-developed dialogues, extraordinary characters with their own stories, and, of course, battles. Fights, where would we be without them? Divinity Original Sin 2 boasts an abundance of battles: you will not get bored here.
At the beginning of the game, you choose who your soul is drawn to: to be an undead, a human, a lizard, a dwarf, or an elf. The unknown world of Rivellon beckons you and makes you admire its diversity and grandeur again and again. Let me briefly remind you of the plot of the game. One day, because of a certain Source (magic), the demons of the Void entered the world, destroying everything and everyone in their path. After this nightmare, everything related to witchcraft was strictly prohibited, and those who owned it were subjected to forced “cleansing”, after which the owner of magic lost his own identity.
The game begins on a ship that carries prisoners towards the island. The main character, regardless of the choice, is one of those who were caught by the masters to carry out their terrible ritual to get rid of the Source. To prevent anyone from casting spells, the masters put a special collar on everyone that blocks magic. For this reason, our hero cannot fully cast spells at the very beginning of the game. As events unfold, we become stronger, improving our magical skills and pumping up our abilities.
Mods are what will brighten up any game and make it brighter, more interesting, and unique. For Divinity Original Sin 2, there are no exceptions: mods have captured the game here, too. Well, how could it be without them? It’s so boring to play the Vanilla version! I have collected for you the best mods for Divinity Original Sin 2, which will not leave you indifferent. And also, all the mods are tested and working, so feel free to install and enjoy, warrior!
Best Mods for Divinity Original Sin 2
With this mod, you can become a green, angry fighting machine, but not Shrek. You can become an orc and master two talents: one increases damage by 10%, and the other adds +1 to telekinesis. The mod is compatible with any vanilla class skills, so you don’t have to worry about everything going wrong in the game.
2. Arkflood
If you’ve ever wanted to flood the entire world, this mod is for you. The Arkflood mod gives you the ability to create rain spells using these two plants (Amaduvir and Whispering Tree), which can create about 25 times more water than a normal rain spell. It’s quite possible to flood all four of Joy’s slums in just three uses.
This mod expands your weapon selection and improves the variety in Divinity Original Sin 2 by adding variants of existing weapons such as glaives, halberds, and quadruple staves as spear variants, dual shields for your tanks, rapiers as alternatives to daggers, and so on. The mod introduces entirely new weapon types such as shurikens and even firearms. If you are frustrated with the weapon selection in the original game or just want to try a new playstyle, this mod delivers on all of that in a wealth of variety.
4. Free Pet Pal
If you’ve ever played Divinity Original Sin, you certainly know about Pet Pal – a talent that allows you to talk to animals. Thanks to this, you can get additional items and tasks. Now you don’t have to talk to animals with one character, because this unique mod will allow you to use your skill yourself.
5. Unique Loot Drops + Unique Items Vendor
The first mod, as the name suggests, adds new unique items, and the second one adds a merchant who sells these items. Of course, there are other mods for unique items, but the items from this modification are so interesting that even the coolest artifacts from the original version of the game are not even close. For example, a robe that makes you undead imposes eternal poisoning and also gives a mass curse spell. Or a bow that, after each hit, also strikes the enemy with lightning. It is important to add that the opponents will now also have all sorts of cool items. After each battle, there is a small chance that you will receive an enemy’s item.
If the game has become too easy for you, then here is a mod that will not let you get bored. It adds a lot of new skirmishes with opponents in places where there were none before. If you have not played with this mod yet, then you will easily be caught off guard, or in some situations, you will have to look for a workaround. The number of fights will also increase. The only problem with the mod is that due to such a large number of battles, you will receive much more experience, which in turn means a quick level-up and overlay.
7. Less EXP
The mod reduces the amount of experience gained by 25-50-75% of your choice. If you want true hardcore and prove to your friends what you’re worth, then choose 75%. This is how easy it should be to play Divinity 2, so that mods complicate the gameplay, and not make it easier:)
Still easy for you to play? Here’s a mod that increases the armor, HP, and damage to enemies by 25-30%, plus it gives them more action points. I think there’s nothing to say here – it’s clear that Tougher Enemies makes the game more difficult, making you sweat even more behind your PC screen.
9. Vanity
With this mod, you can change the appearance of your clothes without changing the armor itself. It works as follows. First, create a ring from the mod, which is made by connecting 2 shells, put it on, and get 3 spells.
– The first saves our current appearance.
– The second gives our worn armor the same saved appearance.
– The third spell cancels this.
Algorithm of action:
- First, put on armor that looks cool.
- Save it.
- Put on ugly armor and use the second spell.
In Divinity Original Sin 2, it is not easy to choose three companions for a joint journey. The Red Prince, Ifan ben-Mezd, Fane, Sebille, Marcus Miles. All of them have a well-written story, but the game allows us to take only three companions, which makes it impossible to take all at once. The Party Size Evolved mod will help to correct this misunderstanding; with it, the maximum number of characters increases to ten, and at the same time, you can safely complete quests altogether. Now it’s fun and interesting :)
Divinity Original Sin 2 undoubtedly has good graphics for 2017, but it never hurts to improve them. HQ World and Icons Mod can replace 95% of the landscape textures, as the author of the mod promises.
